Day 01 of Monuments Tour India
Arrival in Delhi
Arrive in Delhi. You will be met by a representative from Indian Luxury Tours. Then you will be transferred to the hotel. Change, wash and relax. Spend rest of the day free. Enjoy welcome dinner and have a relaxed overnight stay.
Day 02 of Monuments Tour India
Sightseeing Tour of Delhi
Take your breakfast. After breakfast, you embark on Delhi city tour to explore attractions of Old Delhi and New Delhi. You visit famous attractions like India Gate (a War Memorial), Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, Old Fort, Parliament House, President House, Rajghat, Chandani Chowk, Lotus Temple, etc. In time you return back to your hotel. Enjoy sumptuous dinner at the hotel and have a comforting overnight stay.
Day 03 of Monuments Tour India
Delhi – Khajuraho
You take your breakfast at the hotel. Later in time, our representative assists to transfer you to the airport to board flight for Khajuraho, a City of Temples. Khajuraho is situated in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Upon arrival, a representative from Indian Luxury Tours assists to transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Change, wash and relax. Later, you cherish architectural beauty by exploring Khajuraho temple complex. You cherish your heart to see several beautiful and erotic sculptures beautifully engraved on the wall of the temples. Day 04 of Monuments Tour India
Khajuraho – Agra
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Jhansi Railway Station for your train to Agra – the City of Taj Mahal. Spend rest of the day at leisure or in your own individual activities.
Day 05 of Monuments Tour India
Sightseeing Tour of Agra – the City of Taj Mahal
You take your breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you visit to Taj Ganges Parking Place from where you take batter van to Taj Mahal, the Symbol of Eternal Love. You are awestruck with the beauty of Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is India’s star tourist attraction and one of the seventh wonders in the world. You also visit Agra Fort and the Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daullah (the Baby Taj). You love to explore colorful bazaars of the city where you have opportunity to see and purchase some exquisite handicrafts as a memento to Taj visit. Day 06 of Monuments Tour India
Agra – Jaipur
Enjoy hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later, you drive to Jaipur – the Pink City of India. Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan. You visit wonderful but abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri. It is a world heritage site. Fatehpur Sikri was the capital of Akbar but unfortunately it was abandoned by Akbar due to scarcity of water. Sightseeing of Chennai & Kanchipuram – Mahablipuram
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, spend this day in visiting two of the fines examples of ancient South Indian architecture – Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 20 of Monuments Tour India
Chennai – Delhi – Departure
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure or in last minute shopping. In the evening after a farewell dinner you will be transferred to the domestic airport for flight to Delhi for return.
