Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
On arrival in New Delhi, Indian Luxury Tours representative will pick you up at the airport and transfers you to your hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi – Lucknow – Sravasti
After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Airport to board flight to Lucknow. On arrival in Lucknow, you will be transferred to Sravasti by Indian Luxury Tours representative where you will check into your pre-booked hotel. Later see various places of tourist attractions in Sravasti. Anand Bodhi Tree, Jetvana Monastery, Ancient Stupas, etc are attractions of Sravasti. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel at Sravasti.
Day 03: Sravasti – Lumbini
After having breakfast, drive to Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha. On arrival, Indian Luxury Tours transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. Visit the famous tourist spots of Lumbini such as temple of Maya Devi, Banyan tree, Birth Place of Lord Buddha etc. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Lumbini – Kushinagar
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kushinagar, a place where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. On arrival you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Later visit famous places like Ramabhar Stupa (where Buddha was buried), Statue of Lord Buddha, etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05: Kushinagar – Patna
Take your breakfast and drive to Patna (the capital of Bihar) via Vaishali. You will visit important tourist places like Ashoka Pillar, Bawan Pokhar Temple, Buddha Stupas, Shanti Stupa, etc at Vaishali. On arrival in Patan, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 06: Patna – Bodhgaya
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Bodhgaya en route visiting Nalanda and Rajgir. Visit the world famous sites the ruins of Nalanda International University at Nalanda. At Rajgir you will see places like Venu Vana, Gridhkut Hills, Shanti Stupa, Hot Water Springs, etc. On arrival at Bodhgaya, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 07: Bodhgaya Sightseeing
In the morning visit Mahabodhi Temple to offer prayers. The temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also visit Mahabodhi Tree where Buddha got his nirvana. Also explore other temples made by Buddhist followers from different countries. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 08: Bodhgaya – Varanasi
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive to Varanasi (a world famous pilgrimage centre in Uttar Pradesh). On arrival in UP, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. Visit to the holy ghats of sacred River Ganges. Visit attractions like Vishwanath Temple, Golden Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Benaras Hindu University, Tulsi Manas Temple, Durga Temple, etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 09: Varanasi – Sarnath – Varanasi
Take your breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the Sarnath, where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon. Visit the Sarnath Archaeological Museum among other attractions. Return back to Varanasi and check into your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 10: Varanasi – Lucknow
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive to Lucknow (the Capital of Uttar Pradesh). On arrival Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. Later visit the famous attractions of Lucknow like Bara Imambara, Chota Imambara, Rumi Darwaza, Clock Tower, etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 11: Lucknow – Agra
Take your breakfast and drive to Agra visiting en route Sankasia. Visit the Statue of Lord Buddha and the Shiva Lingam at Sankasia. Continue your drive to Agra. On arrival in Agra, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to your hotel. Later visit the famous attraction like Taj Mahal (one of Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Agra Red Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Itmad-Ud-Daullah (the Baby Taj), etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 12: Agra – Delhi
After a relaxed breakfast at the hotel, drive to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi you will be transferred by your hotel by a representative from Indian Luxury Tours. Spend rest of time in shopping or in your own independent activities. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 13: Departure from Delhi
After morning breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit famous tourist spots of Delhi like Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat, Qutub Minar, Akshardham Temple, Birla Temple, Lotus Temple, President House, Parliament House, India Gate, Old Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, etc. After a farewell dinner at the hotel, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to the New Delhi International Airport in time to board flight to your home/onward destination. |
