Day 01: Buddha - The Light of India
Abroad - Delhi
Arrive in Delhi around mid night, meet and greet at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight
Day 02: Buddha - The Light of India
Delhi
Morning sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi visiting Qutab Minar, Red Fort, Jama Masjid , Indian Gate - war Memorial, Lakshminarayan temple, Raj Ghat - cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi & chandani Chowk - shopping centre of Old Delhi . Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Buddha - The Light of India
Delhi – Varanasi
Morning transfer to airport to board flight to Varanasi, on arrival transfer to hotel. After noon excursion to Sarnath, the buried Buddhist city where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Overnight at Hotel
Day 04: Buddha - The Light of India
Varanasi – Bodhgaya
Early morning boat excursion on the Holy River Ganges to see the bathing ghats and cremation site. Later leave by surface for Bodhgaya . Overnight at Hotel
Day 05: Buddha - The Light of India
Bodhgaya
Morning full day sightseeing in Bodhgaya the most important Buddhist pilgrimage center in the world for all followers of Lord Buddha where Lord Buddha entered into medtation after being moved by the suffering of mankind . Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Buddha - The Light of India
Bodhgaya- Rajgir - Nalanda – Patna
AM leave for Patna enroute visiting Rajgir and Nalanda . Rajgir is a site of great sanctity and significance for Buddhists. The Gridhakuta Hill in Rajgir was the seat from where Buddha delivered many of his sermons. Nalanda is one of the oldest Universities of the World. Overnight
Day 07: Buddha - The Light of India
Patna - Kushinagar
AM drive to Kushinagar enroute visiting Vaishali, where Lord Buddha delivered his last sermon. Afternoon sightseeing in Kushinagar visiting Mahaparinirvana temple commemorating the place of the great decease with a reclining statue of Lord Buddha, Rambhar Stupa where Lord Buddha was cremated . Overnight at Hotel
Day 08: Buddha - The Light of India
Kushinagar – Lumbini
AM drive to Lumbini, afternoon visit the site where Buddha was born 2500 years ago. Overnight at hotel
Day 09: Buddha - The Light of India
Lumbini - Balrampur
Morning drive to Balrampur, afternoon visit Saravasti where Lord Buddha spent 24 rainy seasons. Overnight at hotel
Day 10: Buddha - The Light of India
Balrampur - Lucknow – Delhi
Morning drive to Lucknow , on arrival transfer to railway station to connect Shatabdi express to Delhi . Overnight at hotel
Day 11: Buddha - The Light of India
Delhi - Abroad
Early morning transfer to airport for your onward flight
