Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Your Dalai Lama Tour in India starts with your arrival in New Delhi, the capital city of India. Upon arrival in New Delhi International Airport, Indian Luxury Tours representative greets and assists you to transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. Enjoy your welcome dinner at the hotel. Have a overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi – Chakki Bank
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Delhi city tour includes visit to Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Rajghat, Chandani Chowk, Qutub Minar, President House, Parliament House, India Gate, Buddha Garden, Old Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Birla Temple, Akshardham Temple, etc. in the evening you will be transferred to New Delhi Railway Station to board overnight train for Chakki Bank to reach in Dharamshala, a picturesque hill town in Himachal Pradesh. Dinner will be onboard the train.
Day 03: Chakki Bank – Dharamshala
Arrive this morning at Chakki Bank Railway Station. On arrival Indian Luxury Tours representative meets and transfers you to Dharamshala. Dharamshala is not only a picturesque hill town but it is also the Home of Holiness Dalai Lama. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon visit the Monastery of His Highness Dalai Lama. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Dharamshala
In the morning visit to the Monastery of His Highness Dalai Lama again. Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. In the afternoon visit the Baijnath Temple – one of the Jyotirlingas. Spend rest of the day at leisure or explore beauty of Dharamshala. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05: Dharamshala – Delhi
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive to Chakki Bank Railway Station to board train for Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to your hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
