Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
Upon arrival in New Delhi (the capital city of India), a representative of Indian Luxury Tours will receive you from the airport or railway station and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Wash, change and relax. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi – Corbett National Park
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Corbett National Park. Located in the state of Uttarakhand, Jim Corbett National Park is India’s first national park known for good population of tigers and varied species of birds. The park has rich flora and fauna to offer its visitors. Upon arrival at Corbett, Indian Luxury Tours representative will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. You may also request for camp overnight stay. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel / camp.
Day 03: Corbett National Park
Have delicious breakfast at the hotel/camp. Enjoy elephant safari and birding at the park. You will come see a variety of different species of mammals, birds and vegetation. The park is considered as one of the finest places in India for birding. It is very popular among nature lovers and bird watchers. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel/camp.
Day 04: Corbett – Nainital
After breakfast drive to Nainital en route stopping for birding. Nainital is a picturesque hill station popular among nature lovers, bird watchers and honeymooners. Upon arrival at Nainital, Indian Luxury Tours representative will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05: Nainital
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy your holiday activities in the lap of nature. See the fantastic natural beauty and savor in refreshing air. Enjoy birding in and around Nainital. Enjoy boat ride on lakes. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 06: Nainital – Delhi
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 07: Delhi – Bharatpur
After an early morning breakfast enjoy half-day sightseeing tour of Delhi covering prominent attractions like Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, and Lotus Temple. Later drive to Bharatpur in Rajasthan. Upon arrival at Bharatpur, Indian Luxury Tours representative will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 08: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy full day birding at famous Keoladeo Ghana National Park formerly known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Keoladeo National Park is an internationally famous avifauna sanctuary in India that sees thousands of rare and highly endangered birds; for example the Siberian Cranes which come here during the winter season. During winter season hordes of migratory birds can be seen here. The sanctuary is home 366 species of resident birds and 230 species of migratory birds. The park is also a world heritage site listed by UNESCO in natural category. Enjoy cycle-rickshaw ride to enjoy the best charm of birding at the sanctuary. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 09: Bharatpur – Delhi – Departure
Have very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, Indian Luxury Tours representative will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Wash, change and relax. Finish your last minute shopping and purchase some gifts for your near and dear ones. After a farewell dinner you will be transferred to New Delhi International Airport on time. Take flight back to your home / onward destination with sweet memories of north India birding tour. |
