Day 01: Arrival in Goa - Baga Beach
Upon arrival in Goa, a representative from meets and greets you at airport. Then you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Baga. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Baga is one of popular beaches in Goa.
It is known for superb nature beauty. You can enjoy beach activities and also birding in the lush green fields around the Baga beach. You can enjoy sun-basking on silvery white beach of Baga. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Hotel at Baga Beach.
Day 02: Goa - Nature Tours & Birdwatching at Morjim Beach
After an early morning breakfast, embark on bird watching tours and nature tours to Morjim Beach. It is one of the most serene beaches in Goa. Visit the Sea Turtle Conservation to see Olive Ridley Sea Turtle.
You will also watch here waders, gulls and terns. After lunch visit Saligao to explore nature beauty. Visit gushing water springs Salmona and Mollebhat nestled amidst lush green forest. Refresh yourself watching nature beauty and different type of vegetation here. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel at Baga Beach.
Day 03: Goa - Nature Tour & Birding at Charao Island & Mayem Lake
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to the Charao Island and the Mayem Lake for birding. Enjoy Birdwatching seeing Pheasant Tailed Jacana, Comb Duck, Herons, Egrets, Pygmy Goose, etc. Appreciate the beauty of nature and scenic ambiance. Dinner and overnight stay will at hotel in Baga Beach.
Day 04: Goa - Carambolim Lake - Dona Paula Plateau
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. And then embark on nature tours to Carambolim Lake and Dona Paula Plateau. Carambolim is a picturesque lake. It is a major attraction of nature lovers and bird watchers. Appreciate the superb beauty of nature around Carambolim Lake.
Enjoy bird watching see migratory birds as well as domestic birds. The postcard-perfect landscapes, wetlands and scenic surroundings will impress you very much. Also visit the Santa Cruz Marshes where you will find a number of shore birds. Visit the Dona Paula Plateau where you will visit Ashy-Crowned Finch Lark and Yellow-Wattled Lapwing. In time return back to Baga Beach and check into your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05 - 07: Goa - Backwoods Camp - Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Backwoods Camp. Backwoods Camp is a popular Birdwatching camp situated on the edge of Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary & Mollem National Park. On arrival, Indian Luxury Tours representative will assist you to accommodate you in tents or cabins. Here you will spend 3 nights/days.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be organized at tents. You will have good chances to find unique species of birds in the dense deciduous forests. You will see beautiful and chatty streams around the camp. Last day at Backwoods Camp stay you will visit Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. See the different species of animals, birds and plants. The sanctuary is nature blessed and very ideal destination for wildlife enthusiasts, bird watchers and nature lovers.
Day 08: Goa - Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary
After breakfast at Backwoods Camp, drive to Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary enjoying bird watching on the way. On arrival, Indian Luxury Tours representative will transfer you to your pre-booked hotel at Molyma. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 09: Goa - Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary
Take your breakfast and enjoy nature safari inside the sanctuary. See various species of birds including Rufus Woodpecker, White-Eyed Eagle and Malabar Crested Eagle. After lunch, drive to your hotel in Baga. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 10: Goa - Cabanna Hill - Aguada Fort
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, proceed for nature safari to picturesque Cabanna Hill. You will have wonderful opportunity to see various species of birds, animals and vegetations. You will see Indian Robin, Small Minivets, Bar-winged Flycatcher Shrike, Grey Bushchat, etc.
Later proceed to Aguada Fort – a famous beach destination of Goa. Explore beach surrounding. Enjoy birding around see cattle and bird species like Egret, Brahminy, Kite, White Bellied Sea Eagle, Spotted Dove, Asian Kote, Indian Peafowl, etc. Aguada Fort is a well preserved Portuguese Fort. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 11: Goa - Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary
Today after breakfast proceed to Bondla National Park situated in northeastern Goa. Enjoy birding, nature safari and wildlife viewing inside the sanctuary. Major attractions of the park are Gaur, Sambar, Monkey, Wild Boar, Langur, Jackal etc. You will also see the State Bird – Ruby Throated Yellow Bulbul.
Other bird species found the sanctuary are Grey Hornbill, Golden Backed Woodpecker, etc. You will have full enjoyment of nature tours in Goa while exploring this sanctuary which is combination of Botanical Garden, Rose Garden, Zoo and Deer Safari Park. Botanical Garden and Rose Garden are known for having some of the most exotic species of flora. Enjoy Elephant ride inside the sanctuary. In fact, the sanctuary is more popularly known as a wildlife resort. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 12: Goa - Boat Cruise
Take your breakfast. Later proceed for boat cruise to find the collared kingfishers. Also see other birds like Pipits, Richards, Common Sandpipers, Little Ringed Plovers, Asian Palm Swift, White-Cheeked Barbet, Richards, etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 13: Goa - Baga Hills & Candolim Marshes
Enjoy your breakfast Spend the morning watching birds like Pied Bushchat, Asian Palm Swift, Common Sandpipers, Little Ringed Plovers, White-Throated Kingfisher, Spotted Owlet, Oriental Skylark, etc on Baga Hills. In the evening enjoy birding at Candolim Marshes. See kingfisher and other birds. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 14: Goa - Departure
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Relax beached palm-fringed pristine beaches. Finish your last minute shopping in time. After a farewell dinner at the hotel, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to the Dabolim Airport to board flight for your home/onward destination.
