Day 01: Cochin
Welcome to Cochin. On arrival in Cochin (Fort Kochi), Indian Luxury Tours representative meets and transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. Enjoy Kathkali Dance Performance in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Cochin
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed to sightseeing tour of Fort Kochi – the important Port City of India. The city is also described as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea”. Visit the Mattancherry Dutch Palace. Architecturally beautiful this palace is renowned for its Portuguese heritage. Visit the early 16th century St Francis’s Church. Visit the Jewish Synagogue and explore spice market. Visit the Santa Cruz Basilica. Explore various temples and churches. Visit the Chinese Fishing Nets. Enjoy sunset cruise. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Periyar
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast drive to Periyar famous for Periyar National Park & Tiger Reserve. Upon arrival at Periyar, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. Relax and refresh yourself at the hotel. In the afternoon enjoy boat cruise on the picturesque Lake Periyar to see the wildlife attractions of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. You will see wild animals like Indian Elephants, Barking Deer, Indian Wild Doges, Langurs, Monkeys, Nilgiri Tahrs, Flying Lizards, Leopards, etc. Periyar is basically elephants’ paradise. In time return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04: Kumarakom
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast drive to Kumarakom, one of the important backwater destinations in Kerala famous for Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Upon arrival at Kumarakom, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05: Kumarakom
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Day is free to relax and explore the beautiful Kumarakom. Enjoy boat cruise over picturesque Vembanad Lake. Explore the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Later embark on luxury houseboat to enjoy the charm of Kerala backwater tours. Dinner and overnight stay will be on board the houseboat.
Day 06: Alleppey
This morning houseboat cruise takes you to Alleppey sailing over serene and scenic backwaters. Take your breakfast onboard the houseboat. The day cruise takes you through various scenic water bodies, lovely lakes, brackish lagoons, narrow canals, etc. You have opportunity to activities of local people from your cruise. Dinner and overnight stay will be onboard the houseboat.
Day 07: Alleppey – Cochin – Departure
After hearty breakfast onboard the houseboat at Alleppey, disembark the houseboat. Later you will be transferred to Cochin Airport for flight to home/onward destination.
