Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
On arrival in Delhi, Indian Luxury Tours representative meets and transfers you to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi – Leh (by Flight)
You will be transferred to Delhi Airport to catch flight to Leh. On arrival Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. The day is completely free for your acclimatization. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Leh
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Make visit to Phyang and Spituk Monasteries. Spend rest of the day at leisure.
Day 04: Leh – Chilling Village
Take your breakfast and drive to Chilling Village from where your Ice Chadar Trek starts. The village is lying on the banks of Zanskar River. The village is famous for exquisite handicrafts. Explore the village and meet local people who are friendly and kind. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the village.
Day 05: Chilling – Tilat Sumdo – Darbau
Take your breakfast and trek to Darbau following the south course of the Zanskar River. On the way, stop at Tilat Sumdo for lunch. Dinner and overnight at will be at the comfortable Tent in a Cave.
Day 06: Darbau – Yokma
Have a hot drink with sumptuous breakfast at the camp. Trek through breathtaking landscapes following the meandering course of the river as it turns west, towards the waterfall of Na Chhumchhar. You have opportunity to see many animals which have been adapted to the harsh condition of this frozen desert. You may see wildlife like Bears, Wolves, Yaks, and various species of Goats and Sheep. After lunch continue to a large natural cave camp at Tip Yokma. Here we will have shelter together from the biting icy winds and the views of surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the cave camp.
Day 07: Yokma – Lingshed Do
Have a hot drink with sumptuous dinner. Continue your trek passing an ice-fall and forests of juniper trees while traveling to the small settlement of Yulchung, on the border of Kargil and Leh districts of Jammu & Kashmir. Continue trek passing through plunging gorges after lunch at the Juniper Forest. Arrive at Lingshed Do. Overnight stay will be at Cave camp.
Day 08: Lingshed Do – Lingshed Village
Have a hot drink and sumptuous dinner. Today’s 4/5 hour treks us to the Lingshed Village. En route you have spectacular views of valley, undulating landscapes and small stream. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Village.
Day 09: Lingshed Village
The day is completely free for relax. You may explore the village and meet local people to know about their culture and custom. People here are generous.
Day 10 – 13: Trek Back to Chilling Village – Leh
The Next 4 day trek takes you back to Chilling Village. On the way you have wonderful opportunity to see panoramic scenes, frozen waterfalls, and isolated wildlife. On arrival at Chilling Village, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to Leh by a vehicle. You stay at your pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 14: Leh
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Visit Leh Bazaar and explore Leh surroundings visiting various monasteries. Also visit the Leh Palace. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 15: Leh – Delhi (by Flight)
In time you will be transferred to Leh Airport to board flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. Spend rest of the day relaxing at hotel or you may indulge in shopping activities. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 16: Delhi – Onward
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, embark on Delhi sightseeing tour. Visit major tourist spots like Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Qutub Minar, Old Fort, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Birla Temple and Akshardham Temple. After a farewell dinner, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to the New Delhi International Airport in time to board flight to your onward destination. |
