Day 01: Delhi – Chandigarh – Shimla
In the early morning proceed to Chandigarh and then drive to Shimla – the Capital of Himachal Pradesh. On arrival in Shimla, Indian Luxury Tours representative meets and transfers to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Shimla
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast take excursion to Kurfi, Chail and Wildflower Hall. Return to Shimla and explore the city attractions including the Mall, the Ridge and the Jakhoo Hill & Temple. Shimla is one of the most important hill stations in North India. It is often described as the Queen of Hill Station. It is a favored destination of honeymooning couples. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Shimla – Sarahan
Take your breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Sarahan by Jeep via Narkanda. Sarahan is a beautiful township located amidst mountains. It is famous fro Bhimakali Temple, a perfect combination of Buddhist and Hindu Architecture. The temple has 200 year old idol of the main goddess. Sarahan is known as the Gateway of Kinnaur. On arrival at Sarahan, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Sarahan – Sangla
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast drive to Sangla. On arrival, have camp on the bank of the River Baspa. Sangla is located on the slope built one upon another with Kinner Kailash Peak (6660 M) dominantly situated in the background. After some relax at the camp, visit the nearby Kamru Fort now dedicated to Kamakshi Temple. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.
Day 05: Sangla – Chitkul – Puh
Take your breakfast. Later drive to reach Chitkul Pass. Chitkul is the first village of the Baspa Valley and the last village on the old Hindustan-Tibet trade route. On arrival, spend time over the Sangla Pass which opens routes to Garhwal Himalayas. After lunch drive to Puh, near to Tibetan Boarder lying in the rain shadow region. Puh is situated on the confluence of Spiti and Sutlej. It is famous for grapes, wood carving and deodar trees. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the tented camp.
Day 06: Puh – Kaza
Take your breakfast. Drive to reach Kaza, the capital of Spiti Region. En route visit Tabo Monastery, one of the most important monasteries in Spiti region. You will see beautiful frescoes inside the monastery. On arrival at Kaza, Indian Luxury Tours assists to transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 07: Kaza
After morning breakfast, take excursion to Ki-Monastery, the monastery of Spiti with rare painting and scriptures. Later drive to Kibber Village – the highest village in the world. Return to Kaza for overnight stay.
Day 08: Kaza – Batal
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive to Batal (3960 M) via Kunzum pass (4551 M). Arrive at Batal in the evening. Dinner and Overnight stay will be in the tent.
Day 09: Batal – Jispa
After breakfast, start to reach Jispa stopping just after Batal to take Photograph Bara Shigri Glacier. Also visit the Khardong Monastery on the way. On arrival at Jispa in the evening, camp will be set up beside the River Bhaga for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Jispa – Sarchu
After hearty breakfast, drive to Sarchu via Baralacha Pass – A Pass with Cross Road. This pass has roads coming from Ladakh, Zanskar Spiti and Lahaul. Visit the Suraj Tal (a picturesque serene lake) on the source of River Bhaga. Dinner and overnight stay will be in the tents at Sarchu.
Day 11: Sarchu – Leh
Take your breakfast and drive to reach Leh via Kyungshu plains stretched along the road for 45 km. You will see here Kyungs – sheep like animals. You will stop at Lachulang-La and Tanglang-La on the way. On arrival at Leh, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 12: Leh
Take your breakfast and enjoy city sightseeing of Leh. Visit the Sankar Gompa, King’s Palace, Local Bazaar, etc. In the afternoon, visit Spituk and Phyang Gompas. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 13: Leh
After an early morning breakfast, process for sightseeing of Shey Palace with 12 feet statue of Buddha. Also visit the Hemis Monastery, the richest and the largest monastery of the area. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 14: Leh – Delhi
In time you will be transferred to Leh Airport to board flight to Delhi from where you will take your international flight to home destination.
