Day 01 of Cultural South India Tour
Arrival in Chennai
Upon arrival at Chennai Airport, a representative from Indian Luxury Tours welcomes and assists to transfer you to the hotel. In the afternoon, embark on sightseeing tour of Chennai, exploring various temples. Visit the famous Marina Beach. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02 of Cultural South India Tour
Chennai – Excursion to Mahabalipuram & Kanchipuram
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and take full day excursion to Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. Both are famous Hindu pilgrimage centres. Kanchipuram is called as Golden Town of Thousand Temple. At Mahabalipuram, you visit famous Shore Temple. Return back to Chennai in time. Check into your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03 of Cultural South India Tour
Chennai – Madurai
Take your breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you will be transferred to catch morning flight to Madurai. Upon arrival, you have warm welcome and assistance for transferring to the hotel. Later, proceed to sightseeing tour of Madurai, the Athens of the East. In the evening visit the world famous Meenakshi Temple. Attend in Aarti ceremony. Madurai – Periyar

Afternoon, cherish boat ride over Periyar Lake to view the wild attractions of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. You have golden opportunity to see herds of playful elephants while boating. Day 05 of Cultural South India Tour
Periyar – Kumarakom
Take your breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast drive to boat landing point. Embark on boat cruise. Boat takes you to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is famous backwater destination in Kerala. It is also known for its Bird Sanctuary. Upon arrival in Kumarakom, a representative from Indian Luxury Tours assists you to transfer to the hotel. Spend rest of the day free at leisure. Day 06 of Cultural South India Tour
Kumarakom – Cochin
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on Kumarakom – Alleppey – Kumarakom backwater cruise. Explore the scenic charm of unique backwaters passing though palm fringed canals, lakes and lagoons. Later drive to Cochin. Upon arrival in Cochin, our representative assists you to transfer to the hotel. Change, wash and relax at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 07 of Cultural South India Tour
Cochin – Departure
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, enjoy morning sightseeing tour of Cochin visiting temples, churches, colonial homes and Chinese Fishing Nets. Later, you will be transferred to the Airport to board flight for your home/onward destination having sweet memories of Cultural South India Tour. |
