Day 01 of South India Temple Tour
Arrival in Chennai
Arrive in Chennai (the capital city of Tamil Nadu) by international flight. Upon arrival, a representative from Indian Luxury Tours warmly welcomes you and transfers you to the pre-booked hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02 of South India Temple Tour
Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kanchipuram, the Golden Town of Thousand Temples. Kanchipuram is one of seven sacred cities of Hindus. Explore temple attractions of Kanchipuram. Later, proceed to Mahabalipuram to visit famous Shore Temple. Upon arrival at Mahabalipuram, you will be accommodated at a pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03 of South India Temple Tour
Mahabalipuram – Tanjore
After an early morning breakfast, depart for Tanjore visiting en route Pondicherry. At Pondicherry you visit Raj Niwas, Sacred Heart Church and Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Continue to Tanjore. Upon arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04 of South India Temple Tour
Tanjore – Trichy
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and embark on half day sightseeing tour of Tanjore. Explore its famous attractions and later proceed to Trichy. Upon arrival, check into your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05 of South India Temple Tour
Trichy – Madurai

Madurai – Chennai
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Embark on short sightseeing tour of Madurai, the Athens of the East. Visit the famous Meenakshi Temple. Later, proceed to Chennai. Day 07 of South India Temple Tour
Chennai – Departure
Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later visit to the famous temples like Parathasarathy Temple, Kapileshwara Temple, Ashtalakshmi Temple, and Sri Vadapalani Andavar Temple. Finish your last minute shopping. After a farewell dinner at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport in time to board flight for your home/onward destinations. |
