The construction of this love monument was started in 1632 by the order of Shah Jahan one year after the death of Mumtaz Mahal and finished in 1653. 20,000 workers worked to create this masterpiece architecture. It is expected that 32 crore rupees expended to create this building. The interior designs of Taj Mahal are worth admiring. Inlay work, internal motifs, calligraphy, etc all not fail to impress visitors. The gardens, fountains and pools in the complex of Taj Mahal enhance the beauty of this love monument.
