Day 01: Ahmedabad – Bhavnagar
On arrival at Ahmedabad Airport, Indian Luxury Tours representative cordially welcomes and transfers you to Bhavnagar to check into your hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Enjoy Dinner and have a relaxing overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Bhavnagar – Sasan Gir
Have a breakfast at the hotel. And then drive to world famous Gir National Park, often described as the Gir Lion Sanctuary. On arrival at Gir Sasan Gir, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to your pre-booked resort. Freshen up and relax at the resort. In the afternoon enjoy Jeep Safari to see the sensational activities of lion, the king of jungles. Diner and overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 03 -04: Gir National Park
Breakfast will be at the resort. Enjoy morning and afternoon jungle safari in Gir Jungle for wildlife viewing and bird watching. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the resort.
Gir Forest National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary :
It is one of the most famous national parks in India. Also known as Sasan Gir or Gir Van, it is a forest and wildlife sanctuary situated in the Indian state of Gujarat. This world famous national park is the only home of the pure Asiatic lion (the King of Forest). Due to diverse flora and fauna and unique ecosystem, the parks deserves the attentions of travellers and wildlife enthusiasts from all over the world. There are more than 507 plant species in Gir Forest. There are about 2375 distinct species of fauna in the forest of Gir National Park including 38 species of mammals, 350 species of birds, 37 species of reptiles and more than 2000 species of insects. Major animals found in the Gir National Park are Asiatic lions, Indian Leopards, Jungle Cats, Golden Jackals, Indian Palm Civets, Ratels, Striped Hyenas, Indian Mongoose, Spotted Deer, Blue Bulls, Four-horned Antelopes, Chinkara, Wild Boar, Black Bucks, Hare, etc. The forest is mainly famous for Asiatic lions and often described as Asia’s only Lion Sanctuary.
Day 05: Gir – Zainabad
In the early morning enjoy birding around fringes of Sasan Gir. After very hearty breakfast at the resort, drive to Zainabad. Visit the fringe of Little Rann of Kutch on the way. Stop at some water holes to check birds. Continue your drive to Zainabad. On arrival, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to your pre-booked resort. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 06: Zainabad
After hearty breakfast at the resort, enjoy morning jeep safari to the Rann of Kutch for wildlife viewing and bird watching. Birds on the ground, aquatic species, Wild Ass, other mammals and reptiles will be observed. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Zainabad.
Day 07: Zainabad – Ahmedabad – Delhi or Mumbai
After hearty breakfast at the resort, drive to Ahmedabad. On arrival in Ahmedabad, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers to the airport to board flight to the Delhi or Mumbai from where you take your flight for onward destination.
