Day 01: Arrival in Kolkata
Arrive in Kolkata, the Capital City of West Bengal, India. On your arrival at Kolkata Airport, Indian Luxury Tours representative greets and transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. Relax yourself at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. 
Day 02: Kolkata
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, proceed for sightseeing tour of Kolkata. Visit the Victoria Memorial. The architecturally beautiful structure is built in white marble and surrounded by lush gardens. It is probably the most beautiful monumental legacy of British India. It was built by Lord Curzon in the early 20th century in memory of the late Queen of England. Visit the St Paul’s Cathedral Church, the Birla Planetarium (one of the largest planetariums in the world), the Indian Museum, the Eden Gardens Cricket Stadium, etc. Also visit Kali Temple. You may enjoy underground metro train. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Kolkata – Guwahati – Kaziranga
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to domestic airport to board flight to Guwahati, the capital city of Assam. On arrival at Guwahati, Indian Luxury Tours representative greets and transfers you to wildlife resort at Kaziranga. Kaziranga National Park is a popular national park in India. It is known for one-horned rhinos along with other animals like tigers, leopards, elephants and many species of birds. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 04 – 05: Kaziranga National Park/Elephant Safari/Jeep Safari
Have a very hearty breakfast at the resort. Enjoy morning and Evening Jeep or Elephant Safari in to the Kaziranga National Park. Tall elephant grass, marshland and dense tropical moist broadleaf make the vast expanse of Kaziranga National Park, an ideal habitat for wildlife. Enjoy wildlife safari to view wildlife chasing one-horned rhinos. You will also see other wildlife attractions like elephants, bison, swamp deer, hog deer, sloth beer, tigers, leopard, wild cats, otters, hog badgers, capped langurs, gibbons, wild boar, jackals, wild buffalos, pythons, monitor lizards, and many species of birds. Dinner and overnight stay will be at resort.
Day 06: Kaziranga – Guwahati – New Jalpaiguri
After hearty breakfast at the resort, drive to Guwahati. Explore major attraction of Guwahati. In time Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to Guwahati Railway Station to board overnight train for New Jalpaiguri. Dinner will be onboard the train.
Day 07: Arrival in New Jalpaiguri – Jaldapara
Arrive this morning at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. On arrival at NJP Station, Indian Luxury Tours representative takes you to Jaldapara by car. ON arrival check into your hotel pre-booked for you. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 08 – 09: Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary/Elephant Safari/Jeep Safari
Breakfast will be at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. You will enjoy the charm of Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary enjoying Jeep and Elephant Safaris in morning and evening. Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary is home of wild animals like single-horned rhinos, wild pigs, tigers, elephants, leopards, deer, swamp deer, hog deer, bison and a many species of birds including pea-fowls, peacocks, kingfishers, owls, egrets, rocket-tailed drongo, paradise flycatcher, hornbill, etc. The sanctuary is a paradise for bird watchers. It is one of the very few place sin India, where the Bengal Floricans were spotted.
Day 10: Jaldapara – Gangtok
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Gangtok in Sikkim. Upon arrival at Gangtok, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. Spend rest of the day relaxing at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 11: Gangtok
After very hearty breakfast at the hotel, take a 2.5 hrs drive to see picturesque Tsomgo Lake. The Lake is located very close to Nathula Pass – the entry point to China termed as the Silk Route. Return back to Gangtok by late afternoon. Spend rest of the day at leisure or go for shopping in Sikkim Traditional Handicrafts. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 12: Gangtok – Darjeeling
After very hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive to Darjeeling in West Bengal. Darjeeling is a picturesque hill station in India. It is very favored spot for domestic honeymooners but today this town is also appealing tourists and visitors from all over the world. On arrival in Darjeeling, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 13: Darjeeling
In the early morning proceed to famous Tiger Hill to catch the glimpse of romantic sunrise from behind the majestic Kanchanjungha Range. Return back to your hotel for breakfast. On the way back visit the Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast spend rest of the day relaxing at the hotel to recover the lost sleep. Walk to the mall in the evening to do some shopping. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 14: Darjeeling – Bagdogra – Kolkata
Have a relaxed breakfast at the resort. In time you will be transferred to Bagdogra Airport to board flight for Kolkata. On arrival in Kolkata, Indian Luxury Tours representative transfers you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Spend rest of the day in your own independent activities. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 15: Kolkata – Departure
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. In time you will be transferred to Kolkata Airport to board flight for your home/onward destination. |
